Privacy, plainly.
This page covers both the YourCarKeeper app and this website's waitlist.
The app
What we collect: your email address (that's your account), an optional name and ZIP code if you choose to add them, and the content you put in — vehicles you add and the receipts, estimates, warranties, and other documents you photograph or upload.
What we do with it: we store it so your records are organized, synced, and safe if you lose your phone. When you upload a document, an AI service reads it to extract details like the shop, date, and totals — you review everything before it's saved, and your documents are used only to provide the service to you. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with third parties for marketing, and there are no ads.
Where it lives: in our database and private file storage (hosted with Supabase), encrypted in transit, with access restricted so only your account can see your records.
Deleting: you can delete any document, record, or car in the app anytime — or delete your entire account and everything in it under Settings → Delete account. Details: deleting your account and data.
The website & waitlist
What we collect on the site
If you join the waitlist, we collect one thing: your email address. That's it. No tracking pixels dressed up as features, no purchased data.
What we do with it
We'll email you about CarKeeper's launch and, occasionally, ownership guides like the ones on this site. Nothing else. We never sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.
Leaving
Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works the first time. You can also write us and we'll remove you by hand.
Where it lives
Waitlist emails are stored in our own database (hosted with Supabase) with access restricted to the CarKeeper team.
